專家說明

The present Emergency Orbiter model is preserved in like new condition and sold with the full set of accessories. It is number 520 of the limited series of 1999 examples.

The Orbiter 3 commemorates Bertrand Piccard’s and Brian Jones world record setting non-stop balloon flight around the world in 19 days, 21 hours and 55 minutes. Their balloon was named the Orbiter 3. Breitling issued 1999 watches in Titanium, 20 in 18K yellow gold and 20 in 18K white gold.

The Emergency wristwatch was created as a survival instrument for pilots, navigators and explorers. It is equipped with a transmitter to locate people in distress by broadcasting a signal on a frequency used by all rescue services and must be reprogrammed after each emergency.
