Two pairs of stools with very closely related Empire Beauvais tapestry and also on later frames were sold from The Cholmondeley Family and the Late Sir Philip Sassoon, Bt., from Houghton; Christie’s, London, 8 December 1994, lots 75 and 76. Another pair was sold anonymously, Christie’s, New York, 23 October 2018, lot 323 ($47,500).
