10 ¾ x 15 5/8 in. (27.3 x 39.7 cm.); and one other drawing:
(ii) William Hamilton, R.A. (1751-1801), Macbeth and the Three Witches, signed 'W. Hamilton' (lower left), and with inscription 'A Scene in Macbeth/ by W. Hamilton' (verso of the mount), pencil and red chalk on buff paper, 9 ½ x 13 1/8 in. (24.2 x 33.3 cm.)

The present drawing relates to a painting by Wheatley, The Angler's Return, dated by Mary Webster to circa 1790. (M. Webster, Francis Wheatley, New Haven and London, 1970, p. 142, no. 77. There are some alterations to the staffage, but the drawing appears to be after the painting.
