Cette photographie a été acquise en 1988, période à laquelle Koudelka ne signait généralement plus ses tirages. Le photographe a donc fait une exception pour ce collectionneur qui se mariait quelques mois après.

This print was acquired in 1988, when Koudelka was making a point of not selling many prints and generally was not signing them. This one he did as a favor as a wedding gift to the present owner.
