Of all the Royal Oaks created, the present timepiece attracts the curiosity of many though the captivating color of its dial. Offered for the first time in the Middle East at auction, the present Royal Oak with bright yellow dial represents part of the most striking and attractive examples of the model. As a general rule, timepieces bestowed with dials of vivid color are highly chased by collectors and represent trophies to many. Further adding to its appeal and rarity, the timepiece was preserved with care throughout the years and is offered with its box and certificate, satisfying the most demanding collectors.

Amongst the most coveted timepieces of the Audemars Piguet manufacture, the Royal Oak has established itself as part of the iconic wristwatches of the watch industry. Launched in 1972, the Royal Oak was born from the inspiration of the celebrated designer Gerald Genta, and rose to stardom throughout the years.
