The present reference 5513 is offered in exceptional, absolutely new-old-stock condition, still retaining the protective green sticker to the case back.
Reference 5513, the “non-Chronometer” Submariner, is distinguished by its matte “two line no date” dial. It was in production from the early 1960s until the late 1990s. Over the years the depth rating changed from meters first to feet-first, various fonts and the alignment of the text shifted, and the size of the luminous numerals varied.
The present example, dating from around 1989, is one of the last examples of reference 5513 made.
