專家說明

The attribution to Nast or Darte Frères is based on a stylistic comparison of marked work by these two preeminent Paris factories, both of which are known for the high quality of their modeling and decoration. For a Nast vase in the collection of the museum at Sèvres - Cité de la Céramique with very similar modeling, the incurved handles with the head of a ram rather than the more unusual panther found on the present vase clock, the painted decoration by Darte, see Régine de Plinval de Guillebon, Faïence et Porcelain de Paris XVIIIe-XIXe Siècles, Paris, 1995, pp. 14-15, color illus.
