專家說明

According to the Catalogue raisonné of the watercolours by Dr. Ursula Heiderich, the figure depicted is probably Elisabeth Erdmann-Macke, wife of the artist. As of the end of 1910, Macke lived with his family in Bonn, where he devoted himself to his immediate domestic and spatial surroundings. Throughout this time, Macke repeatedly paints his wife Elisabeth, whether reading, sewing or resting, and with their son Walter who was born in 1910.
