拍品 3 The following two lots, 3 and 4, are fine examples of Omega's Memomatic model, launched in 1970 and incorporating two world premieres in an alarm wristwatch: it was the first automatic watch with one barrel powering simultaneously the time movement and the alarm function but also the first alarm mechanism triggered to the exact minute. The display is composed of two moving discs indexed to the striking mechanism, a triangle for the hours and a double line for the minutes.
The model is described and illustrated in Omega Sportswatches by John Goldberger, pp. 72 & 73.
