Tasting note: Bottled 1997, recorked/rewaxed 2015. Dark iodine colour. Sweet barley sugar nose, fine leathery, bit of glue, spirity touch. Intense nose from extended canteiro aging. Soft intense taste start, full dried fruits, nice flavoured. After some time in the glass the wine developed further showing more layers of its complex character. A wine of class. Last tasted April 2014. EV.
