專家說明
The present lot is a characteristic example of the work of Domenico Roberti. The main group of pictures attributed to him, in the Galleria Spada, Rome, show clear similarities to the work of Giovanni Ghisolfi, though many of Roberti's other works have much in common with Codazzi. Roberti often included the Pantheon in his capricci, as in this picture, and though he often seems to have painted his own figures, here they would appear to be by a different hand.
