A nearly identical pair of vases of the same size also signed by J. Pascault were offered in the seminal sale of the "extremely costly furnishings, embellishments and interior decorations" of Captain Joseph de Lamar Collection, sold on the premises of the Lamar Mansion, 233 Madison Avenue, under the management of the American Art Association, 20-22 November 1919, lot 42.
