專家說明

Bocca Tigris or 'tiger's mouth', was the name given to the entrance of the Pearl River where forts were constructed on the river's edge on either side to defend this narrow channel of water. A similar depiction of the scene can be found in the Royal Museums Greenwich collection, accession number BHC1783.
