Enamel has always occupied a special place in the hearts of collectors, and enameled pieces by Patek Philippe never fail to impress with their superb quality and vibrant colors. The present timepiece is a celebration of this century-old art: the cloisonné enamel is the one and only protagonist of the dial, which is stark to the extreme, without even the numerals. A close inspection of this work of art highlights the supreme mastery of the skill achieved by Patek Philippe's enamellers: the pinions of the phoenix are executed in incredible details, the many colors melting into each other and dancing with different hues according to how the light strikes the dial.
