With Longines Extract from the Archives confirming the production of the present watch in stainless steel, fitted with a mechanical manually wound movement, calibre 12.68Z, and its subsequent sale on 31 March 1938 to the company Zipper, which was at that time Longines' agent for Poland.

The present timepiece is a particularly fine and attractive example. It is fitted with a highly fascinating dial, featuring all elements a demanding collector looks for: a two-tone finish, combined with the superb sector-design, also known as aviator dial. The unrestored surface is in a beautifully aged condition, most charming and charismatic. Another particularity are the fixed stainless steel bars between the lugs, more commonly found on watches for either military or scientific use.
