ETA 7750 automatic movement, 28 jewels, black gloss dial, applied Arabic, baton and square numerals, luminous hands, central red hand for chronographic seconds, window for date, outer red minute combined with white Arabic five minutes division on sunken track, one sunken engine-turned subsidiary dial for constant seconds, two sunken engine-turned subsidiary dial with silvered chapter ring for 30 minutes and 12 hours registers, large tonneau-shaped case, glazed display back secured by six screws engraved "Bale 05", two chronograph buttons in the band, stainless steel Hublot deployant clasp, case, dial and movement signed

The Big Bang is one of the most remarkable horological commercial successes in recent times. Introduced in 2005 in Basel, its iconic design has since then captivated the hearts of countless enthusiasts.
It was precisely during this year the Mr. Biver generously donated the present timepiece for a charity auction, at which the present owner bought it. Reading the hand written letter by Mr. Biver, we understand that it is one of the earliest prototypes of the Big Bang chronograph. Indeed, the case is engraved Bale 05 (Basel '05) and the case number is 301'101. Mr. Biver in the letter mentions the existence of another prototype, in his possession. It is an educated guess that the present timepiece is the second Big Bang ever made (case. 301'101), while the first one (case 301'100) remains in possession of Mr. Biver.

Considered the success of the model, the present timepiece is an extraordinary find of enormous historical importance.
