A comparable shaped games table to this pair of consoles, which were in fact originally conceived as games tables, can be found in the Espirito Santo Silva Foundation, Lisbon and is illustrated in A. de Brethencourt & F. Jardim de Oliveira, Ricardo do Espirito Santo Silva Foundation, Lisbon, 1995, p. 83 and F. Castro Freire, Mobiliario, Lisbon, 2002, vol. II, pp. 208-209 (inv. 325).
