Dr. Ralf Burmeister has confirmed the authenticity of this work.

This watercolour is related to the oil Symbolic Landscape III of 1930. In the late 1920s Hannah Höch owned a cat called Nin, who according to Dr. Burmeister is probably portrayed here.
