The first is modelled with head turned to one side and wings folded with colourful plumage, perched upon a pierced rocky base decorated with lingzhi and peonies; the second with moulded confronting Buddhist lion handles to the neck and kui dragons to the shoulder, the body and neck with large panels enclosing officials and ladies in terraces and warriors in combat
