In the Empire style, on triform base with dolphin feet and anthemion border, the stem terminating in six branches, each applied with a putto musician, the adjustable ormolu shade applied with a band of bacchic putti on a mattted ground and with detachable bacchic putto finial, the adjusting arm with silver-gilt lyre finial, marked underneath, on stem, sockets, and finials, the base further stamped '3961'

A closely related lamp was formerly in the collection of Laetitia Bonaparte (H. Ottomeyer & P. Pröschel, Vergoldete Bronzen, Munich, 1986, p. 363, fig. 5.12.4).
