The present figure is part of a pair of a Harlequin dressed as Colombine and a Harlequin (sold Christie’s, London, 2 June 2014, lot 306) by the Gardner Factory, circa 1770–1780s. A similar figure of a harlequin is held in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York (1982.60.158).
