Each side painted with a three-quarter length portrait of a gallant and companion standing amongst trees, within gilt shaped oval cartouches enclosing scroll-edged Böttger-lustre panels and issuing brown and iron-red scrolls, the handles with gilt husk and dot ornament

With Winifred Williams, London and Eastbourne, from whom it was acquired on 12 December 1974.
