The present watch is a rare example of a Rolex reference 6239, its bezel from the second series with the tachymeter scale measuring intervals from one unit to 100 units and intermediates at 225 and 250 as opposed to the first series' one to 120 units and intermediates at 225, 250 and 275, and the last series with a scale up to 200, measuring intervals from one to 100.
The most noteworthy aspect of this reference 6239 is however its rare Paul Newman dial configuration including the popular red second scales. The dial is preserved in good condition and its attractiveness is increased through the obviously original and nicely aged luminous accents. The case is likewise preserved in good overall condition, with crisp serial and reference numbers between the lugs.
