The present lot appears to be a figure study for Les Amants Heureux, listed by Ingersoll-Smouse as in the Collection of Baron Maurice Rothschild, Paris (see F. Ingersoll-Smouse, Pater, Paris 1928, p.39, cat. no. 16, fig. 9).
