專家說明

The BCC, as it's known, was established to rival Jaques & Son and was founded by William Moffatt (1843-1918) and William Hughes, who started manufacturing in 1891 when they registered their two designs; the Royal Chessmen and Imperial Staunton. They embraced new materials and processes, notably xylonite (created in 1869) which is more commonly known as celluloid.
