Each with a leaf-wrapped pierced foliate basket supported by three classically-draped maidens bearing fruit and flower-filled torches, on a circular plinth mounted with garland-strung putti, on a spreading leaf-tip bordered base, minor differences, the torches with removable finials to allow for candles
21 ½ in. (54.5 cm.) high; 8 in. (20.5 cm.) diameter

The Empire centrepiece from the collection of King Louis Philippe (1773-1850) of France; and thence by descent.
