Patek Philippe's reference 3445 must be considered one of the most timeless designs ever created for any wristwatch. It is free of any decoration and was never intended to be fashionable. On the contrary, with a production spanning two full decades it has proven to withstand trends and the ever changing moods of the consumers.
Reference 3445, Patek Philippe's first calendar watch made in series, was in production from 1961 to 1981. The model and its calibre 27-460M movement are illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, first edition, pp. 172 & 173.
