With Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated 8 June 2007, Attestation, commemorative medal, product literature, leather wallet, fitted presentation box and outer packaging.
This lot is fresh to the market, still double factory sealed and therefore has never been worn, nor taken out of its original packaging.
Reference 5105 was made in a limited edition of 100 examples in platinum only. The elegant Art Deco inspired reference 5105 with its streamlined rectangular case is based on its compelling predecessor ref. 492 from 1936.
When the Patek Philippe watch departments moved from its historic headquarters in the centre of Geneva to its new headquarters in 1996, one hundred cal. 9'''90 movements were found stashed away in an old wooden chest on the sixth floor. These movements originating from 1959 are now featured inside reference 5105, making the model a rare treasure.
