專家說明
Although unsigned, the movement of the present watch can be attributed to Marius LeCoultre, a watchmaker and retailer located in Geneva who founded his own company in 1848. He specialized in unusual and high quality watches, developed a retrograde date system and was awarded an honourable mention during the Geneva Chronometer Contest in 1887. At the Chicago Universal Exhibition in 1893 he exhibited complicated and precision timepieces. Another particularity are the day and month indications for which LeCoultre used four letters instead of the more common three letter abbreviations.
