專家說明
Henry (or Enrico) Peters (d.1852), an Englishman who moved to Genoa around 1817, was one of several outstanding carvers and craftsmen collaborating with the greatest Italian architect/furniture designer of the 1830s and 40s, Filippo Pelagio Palagi (1775-1860). Peters worked under the direction of Palagi at two royal palaces belonging to the House of Savoy: the Palazzo Reale in Turin and the Castle of Racconigi nearby. He went on to receive a silver medal at the 1846 Genoa Great Exhibition of National Manufactures and Products.
