Born Glen Ridge, New Jersey, 1954. Studied photography at State University College at Buffalo, Buffalo, New York, B.A. Solo exhibitions include: Contemporary Arts Museum, Houston, Texas, 1980; Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil, 1995; Gagosian Gallery, Los Angeles, CA, 2000; Retrospective, The Museum of Modern Art, New York, 2012; San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, California; Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, 2012-2013; Dallas Museum of Art, 2013. Her works are in several public collections including: Museum of Modern Art, New York; Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York; Victoria and Albert Museum, London, United Kingdom. She lives in New York.
