Born Füssen, Germany, 1952. Studied at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste München, Munich, Germany, 1973-79. Exhibitions include: San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, CA, 1989; Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, 1991; Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum Soho, New York, 1992; Galerie Max Hetzler, Berlin, Germany, 2001; Gemeentemuseum, The Hague, The Netherlands, 2006; Köln Skulptur 4, Skulpturenpark Köln, Cologne, Germany, 2008. He lives in Colombier, Switzerland and Freiburg, Germany.
