Ces deux tableaux sont à rapprocher d'une composition passée en vente chez Sotheby's à Monaco le 14 février 1983 (lot 615, huile sur toile, 119 x 145 cm.) comme 'Jan Fyt' et qui reproduit à l'identique les deux faucons se situant au premier plan. Nous remercions le Dr Fred Meijer d'avoir confirmé l'attribution à Christiaan Luyckx.

The two falcons in the foreground of both paintings recur in another, larger painting by Luyckx sold at Sotheby's Monaco, 14 february 1983, lot 615, as Jan Fyt. We are grateful to Fred Meijer for confirming the attribution.
