專家說明
The Chelsea Kakiemon beaker bears a pattern which originated on 17th century Japanese porcelain wares and was copied in the 18th century by Chantilly and other European manufactories. The Chelsea sale catalogue of 1755 refers to the 'Lady pattern' while the 1756 catalogue includes the 'old japan lady pattern'. These could refer to old stock remaining from the Raised Anchor period. A peach-shaped creamboat in this pattern was sold Bonhams London, 3 October 2012, lot 134; and a beaker and saucer was included in the British Museum 'Porcelain for Palaces' Exhibition (1990), p.280, no.328.
