專家說明
A study for the Equestrian Portrait of King Louis XV at Versailles (1724), painted jointly with Jean-Baptiste van Loo. Parrocel was responsible for the horse, which explains the focus of the drawing on the intricate trappings of the saddle. A study for the entire composition was sold in these Rooms, 7 July 1992, lot 228.
