專家說明

Oxygen, an 1828 bay filly, by Emilius and out of Whizgig (1819, by Rubens), a daughter of Penelope, was bred and owned by the 3rd Duke of Grafton. A speedy filly, who ran for four years, her Oaks win was considered a very race, with 21 starters. She ran second in the Newmarket St. Leger to Camarine, and the following year won the Oatlands, beating the good colt Mazeppa.

Lochinvar, a bay colt, was the winner of the £100 Sweepstakes at Newmarket on 3rd October, beating Sir Mark Wood's Galantine.
