The funnel bowl engraved with a scene from the myth of Diana and Actaeon, the naked goddess with a nymph at a springhead, to one side stands Actaeon, transforming into a stag, a hound at his side below a peacock and exotic bird among stylised flowers, the lower part signed and dated, supported by a quatrefoil knopped stem with air inclusion between mereses above a folded conical foot engraved with further flowers
