Composite is a new high performance material and results from an electrochemical process of ceramization of the aluminium. Harder than the ceramics normally used and harder than metals like steel and titanium, composite is also much lighter. This special edition watch will certainly gather the interest of Panerai collectors as it also pays homage to the historic link with the Italian Navy, to which Panerai was a specialized supplier.
