etching, 1545, watermark Double-headed Eagle in Shield with Crown and Initials M (similar to Briquet 326, 1589-91, Brünn), a good, strong though slightly later impression of this rare etching, showing some minor wear in the lower branches at right, with margins, the lower right part of the image torn and re-attached without any significant losses, a small paper loss in the margin at left, the sheet laid down onto a 19th century album sheet
