Tasting Note: Many notes. As distinctive as always. Could only be La Mission. Rich, crisp, surprisingly sweet finish and aftertaste despite more than a touch of astringency which coped well with a cheese soufflé. Last tasted at a Bordeaux Club dinner at Caius, Cambridge, June 2000 **** M.B.
