專家說明
L. Malpass is recorded as a porcelain painter at 16 rue Pierre Leve in the 1870s as well as at the atelier of Paul Blot (successor of Feuillet), 3 rue de la Paix in the late 19th century. In the early 1870s Brownfields began hiring noteable French designers to help create fashionable wares, including those in the Japonisme style. See G. Godden, Staffordshire Porcelain, color pl. XXII for a Brownfield dessert service in the style.
