FRANTISEK DRTIKOL (1883-1961)

Lots 18 and 19 represent important examples of the original glass plates negatives Drtikol used in the 20s to print his gelatin silver prints. These works have in turn become icons of the modernist aesthetic and a crucial and powerful chapter for the nude in the history of photography.
