TARYN SIMON (b. 1975)

Mini Israel contains miniature replicas of architectual, historic, archelogical, religious and social sites constructed at a scale of 1:25. The permanent exhibtion includes over 25,000 miniature Israeli residents, 500 animals and plants, 4,700 cars, 100 motorbikes, 14 trains, 3 helicopters, 32 aircrafts, 175 ships, and 230 trucks. Many of the models have moving parts. Miniature visitors to the Wailing Wall move up and down in prayer.
