FIRST EDITION of this commentary on Euclid by the baroque architect Guarini. The author explains in detail the practice of building vaults and domes that made him justly famous. The Macclesfield copy contained 12 plates but the book is usually found with 11 as here. Sold with Claudius Richardus, Euclidis (Antwerp: 1645). Steck IV, 58. (2)
