專家說明

Jacobus Hasius (Hasch) is recorded from circa 1682-1747 and he is mentioned as having a workshop in the Jan Roodenpoortstorensteeg in Amsterdam. Hasius is listed in the 'Register of Good Men' in 1704 and 1716.
The detail of the work on this clock is outstanding, it is particularly rich in its engraved and pierced brass ornament, all to the highest standard, and not only on the backplate, with mythological themes of Mars and armorial trophies, but also on the hood - stream deities - and soundfrets.
