Compare Dior, Francois Giroud, Sacha van Dorssen, Éditions du Regard, 1987, pages 236-7, entitled 'Istambul or Sherezade.

This gown was shown on the Haute Couture catwalk, but was never produced as such but went to the boutique ateliers as a prototype.
