專家說明

The present plate comes from a service given by Friedrich Wilhelm III to his nephew and godson, Friedrich Franz of Mecklenburg. The service was given over a period of eleven years, starting Christmas 1848, and Friedrich Franz continued to receive it from Wilhelm IV after Wilhelm III passed away. For a further discussion and other plates from this service in the Twinight Collection, see S. Wittwer, Raffinesse & Eleganz, Munich, 2007, pp. 430-431, no. 149.
