專家說明

Antonio Emilio Pascual Viudes was the head of the Manuel Ramirez workshop in Madrid before he emigrated to Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1909, where this guitar was made despite the Madrid label. His work is based on the 1884 Antonio de Torres 11-string guitar No. 71 which was owned by Jose Rojo Cid, who Viudes studied guitar with in Madrid. This is a small, simpler version, but the use of Indian rosewood, which in those days was an exotic import to South America, suggests it was made for a fairly wealthy client despite the plain decor.
The figured maple, large concert size and other features mark this guitar as one of his most deluxe models of the day.
