專家說明

A comparable design for this pendule au chariot was made by Reiche in 1807. Reiche's original designs for this clock are in the Bibliothéque Nationale de Paris. There are many known surviving models, including one at Malmaison.
A nearly identical clock is illustrated in Pierre Kjellberg, L'Encyclopedie de la Pendule Francaise (Paris 1997), p. 417., ill. D. Tardy, French Clocks, Part Two (Paris 1981), p. 279.
A closely related clock was sold Christie's Amsterdam, sale 2730, 20 December 2006, lot 104.
