LABORDE'S IMPRESSIVE MAP, much taller than it is wide, takes an unusual geographical perspective, stretching down from Eastern Europe and central Asia to Egypt and the horn of Africa, Arabia, and Persia. The two inset maps show the routes from Siré to Gondar and from Gondar to the sources of the Nile. RARE ON THE MARKET. On-line ABPC records only one copy, sold in 2003, with the map bisected. Not in Atabey.
